其实有这个区别，是因为缅因龙虾在生长过程中是会褪壳的，每次才褪壳的，就是软壳龙虾，生长了6-8周的龙虾，就会变成硬壳，等待下一次褪壳。
这就是为什么软壳龙虾肉没那么紧实，也会便宜一些，因为壳子比肉大，中间会有很多空间其实是海水，所以价格便宜。
我个人更喜欢吃硬壳的，但是可惜的是，出了缅因，很少有地方区分硬壳软壳。
