一个马来西亚人刚到新加坡一定很多不习惯的饮食文化，好像在小贩中心都会遇到一些很奇葩的事，好像纸巾霸位，排队文化，晚上九点半后不能喝酒啊等等的。毕竟入乡随俗，不习惯的饮食文化也要随着当地人的习惯去适应。这一集就有说到10大不习惯的饮食文化。马来西亚人刚到新加坡可能一不小心踩到了新加坡饮食禁忌很有可能会因这样与人发生口角争执。
霸位文化在新加坡的小贩中心、咖啡店与快餐店无处不在。特别是午餐时间，上班族蜂拥而至到食阁，把纸巾、名片、雨伞、水瓶等物品摆放在餐桌上霸位，再去买食物，这种行为在本地俗称为Chope（霸位）。霸位已成了新加坡人约定成俗的习惯甚至还升级为一种新加坡独有的文化，其他食客看到座位被“霸占”了，就会很自动地寻找下一张“空”桌。
